I have been teaching for quite some time now, and whilst we both really enjoy it, we are starting to get the buzz for performing! Aside from the competitions, the chance to be involved in shows and make new routines together is really refreshing.
We´ve spent a lot of time updating our work - our music, customes, and routines. We have had to put in a lot of work in order to do it, but it´s been worth it. We really enjoyed choreographing the group Argentine Tango for Strictly, and the dance with two men in week ten was certainly very memorable!
I always try and give 110 percent whenever we dance together, and when the music and rhythm just feels right then the moment is perfect. Strictly made me aware of how exciting performances can be, with the pre-show nerves and adrenaline high. It´s something we both want more of!
Place: Southern Italy!
Food: Pasta, probably bolognese
Film: The Tango Lesson
Career moment: Strictly!
We have an incredibly busy schedule at the moment, so most days are spent replying to emails and organising what lessons and shows we will be doing. We sometimes lose whole days in front of the computer!
When we are not organising, I like to get down to the gym. I enjoy relaxing there, using the jacuzzi, sauna, and steam rooms. I enjoy television, particularly DIY programmes - lots of tips to be gained there!
If I wasn´t dancing, I´d like to be involved with animals Perhaps something along the lines of a dog behaviorist, or a trainer. I´ve always found that kind of thing interesting.
He is a bit of a flirt, but we have a saying in Italian that translates to, "the dog that barks never bites". He is a very typical Italian man - a charmer in many ways. He´s passionate, fun, and entertaining. It can be funny to see how people react to him in different ways. Oh, and he can dance some steps too!
